Locum GP at Greater Hobart
Location: Greater Hobart, Tasmania. Start Date: 26/09/2025. End Date: 28/02/2026. Job ID: 21563. This is a locum role at a private billing medical centre focusing on skin cancer care, supported by a team of experienced GPs, skin cancer doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
Compensation: $160/hour or 70% of billings (whichever is greater) for the first 3 months. Accommodation available for interstate GPs. Potential pathway to a permanent role at one of the five clinics.
Responsibilities / Role Details
* Practice Type: Private Billing
* Standard Consult: $111; Long Consult: $197
* Dates: Immediate – February 2026. Minimum placement: 1–2 months.
* Rate: $160 per hour or 70% + GST of billings, whichever is greater in the billing period.
* Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
* Inclusions: Accommodation if not based in Tasmania
* Software: Best Practice
