Overview
Austek Asphalt Services is seeking an experienced MC Float Driver to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. This is a full-time role that will see you playing a crucial part in the delivery of our road construction and maintenance services across South-East Queensland.
What You'll Be Doing
* Safely operate and maintain low loaders and other heavy haulage equipment
* Load and unload construction machinery unsupervised in an urban environment or remote areas
* Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment
* Deliver equipment and materials to job sites in a timely manner
* Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic management plans
* Provide excellent customer service to our clients
What We\'re Looking For
* A valid Heavy Vehicle (MC) driver\'s licence
* Construction Card
* Extensive experience operating low loaders and other heavy haulage equipment
* Strong knowledge of load restraint and traffic management practices
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe work practices
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to undergo and pre-employment medical assessment
