Locum Hospital Pharmacist - Burnie, Tasmania
We are seeking an experienced Locum Hospital Pharmacist to support a regional hospital service in Burnie, Tasmania. This is a short‐term three‐month assignment with immediate start options, working as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Role
* Provide clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards
* Medication reconciliation, reviews, and discharge planning
* Work closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams
* Support safe and compliant medicines management practices
Key Skills & Experience
* Registered Pharmacist (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
* Strong working knowledge of inpatient medication management
* Confident with medication reconciliation and clinical review
* Ability to work independently in a regional/locum environment
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
* Experience in regional or rural hospital settings
* Familiarity with electronic medication management systems
* Previous locum experience
