About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director, the General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of CF Systems, including our Building Management Systems business and our development and manufacturing operations.
You will oversee all aspects of the business—from engineering and manufacturing through to supply chain, service, sales, and distribution—ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all business operations across engineering, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, service, and sales
Drive operational performance, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved
Oversee manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics, including import/export activities
Take ownership of financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability
Partner with sales to ensure alignment with operational capacity and business priorities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
Establish clear structure, accountability, and scalable processes across the business
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and governance requirements
Act as the senior escalation point for key operational or customer issues
About You
You are a proven senior leader with strong commercial instincts and a hands-on approach to operational management.
You will bring:
Significant experience in a technical, manufacturing, engineering, or systems-based environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, and distribution operations
Experience managing import/export processes and supplier relationships
Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen
A track record of leading and developing managers and senior professionals
Excellent decision-making, communication, and problem-solving capability
High levels of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
