Physiotherapist – Full Time (Grade 1/2) at The Hills Private Hospital
Exciting opportunities have opened up for a full time Physiotherapist to join the Allied Health Team at The Hills Private Hospital.
As a Physiotherapist your responsibilities will include:
* Assessment and treatment of patients where clinically indicated in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
* Providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals/patients in our hospital
The Hills Private Hospital is a refurbished hospital with 86 inpatient rehabilitation beds, 25 inpatient mental health beds and a Day Program. We currently offer Orthopaedic, Neurological, Reconditioning, Cardiac and Amputee Rehabilitation Programs. Applicants must be versatile, team oriented and prepared to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
* To undertake full clinical responsibility for the physiotherapy diagnosis, assessment and treatment of a designated clinical load of patients undergoing rehabilitation
* Adhere to the ethical principles of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
* Liaise with multidisciplinary team regarding patient care and therapy time tabling
* Attendance / feedback of information at case conference and family conferences
Selection Criteria
* Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
* Current AHPRA registration
* Experience across a range of services; including Acute and Rehabilitation
* Highly developed assessment and treatment skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
* Customer focused service delivery
