Job Description
Our exciting BDM hunter role is responsible for selling Experian's leading data management and data quality solutions into our buoyant VIC portfolio. The role combines small one-off data cleanse deals and larger, complex tailored data solutions involving proprietary technology and expert consulting. You will manage a defined portfolio, focus on industries such as retail, local government, tourism, automotive, charity and education, and operate autonomously to achieve an expected 15 new meetings a month and 10 follow‐up meetings.
Responsibilities
* Predominantly focused on acquisition of recent business opportunities within existing customer accounts and new logos, managing and closing business within a defined portfolio.
* Demonstrate ability to operate with a level of autonomy.
* Prospect for new contacts within both existing and new accounts.
* Agree and stick to a weekly operating rhythm that sets you up for success.
* Champion Experian values.
* Set up 15 new meetings and 10 follow‐up meetings each month.
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in lead generation and attending meetings, with or without technical pre‐sales assistance.
* 2+ years of sales experience focused on business development roles with closed opportunities.
* Confidence, desire to perform, and curiosity in questioning to understand challenges, requirements and opportunities.
* Knowledge of needs analysis structure is favorable.
* Comfortable selling small one‐off deals and handling larger, complex deals offering tailored solutions.
