We are seeking a People Experience Lead to codesign global people frameworks and support key people leaders in a high growth, high change environment. This is an important, hands-on role where you will work closely with our Chief People Officer to (re)design and embed key processes to support a global scale-up. It is an optimistic and creative role working with a group of highly engaged, super smart AI engineers, Product Designers and Sales staff. The People Experience Lead will report directly to the Chief People Officer and have ample opportunity to learn and grow their career. The role is based in Melbourne. Description of the role This is a generalist position which requires you to support business leaders across a variety of People tasks – including workforce planning, talent acquisition, org structure design, facilitating best ways of working, performance planning, and providing sound guidance on day-to-day ER matters. This is the ideal role for someone looking to develop their proven consulting skills in a high growth tech environment - offering autonomy, variety, and strong support from a Chief People Officer. In this varied role, you will: Support the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment, development, case management, restructuring, through to offboarding. Support workforce planning and manage the recruitment process end to end for open roles in key job families of engineering, product, sales and group functions. Improve the design of core People frameworks and processes related to performance, remuneration and talent acquisition and development. Support the build out of dynamic job matrixes and competency frameworks in a scale up context. Advise and implement key People platforms – such as HRMIS and ensure ongoing maintenance of same. Provide advice on policies and employee relations to people leads. Drive cyclical People activity: talent reviews, and performance and remuneration reviews. Partner with people leads on key People projects related to growth, team structure and team ways of work. Use People systems and data analytics to monitor trends and inform strategic decision-making across the group. Experience Required People consulting experience : 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within fast-growing technology companies. You have tertiary qualifications in engineering, HR or org psych. Recruitment & talent management : Track record of successfully hiring and retaining senior talent globally across engineering, sales and product management. Design acumen : a talent for redesigning People processes and frameworks to ensure effective talent management. Development focus : Success in improving performance frameworks, processes and procedures, and coaching managers to elevate team capabilities. Has generalist IR experience. Commercial orientation : Ability to link people initiatives and incentives with broader business objectives to drive profitable growth. Has generalist rem experience. Process excellence and continuous improvement : Track record of investing in the People function by building and refining systems and processes.
