Our City's Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, review, update, and implement City plans and documentation, including Local Emergency Management Arrangements (LEMA), ensuring the safety of our citizens and visitors.
* Deliver prevention programs to reduce emergencies and improve community resilience through proactive measures.
* Lead and coordinate emergency response functions during incidents, making timely decisions to mitigate risks and minimize damage.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, service providers, stakeholders, and industry experts to enhance emergency preparedness and response.
* Collaborate with the community to identify and address potential risks, improving risk mitigation strategies for fire, storm, earthquake, airport, and other emergencies.
