* Strong experience with one or more major firewall platforms (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, Juniper, Checkpoint).
* Solid hands-on skills in routing & switching (e.g. OSPF, BGP, VLANs, port channels, VRFs).
* Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and CI/CD or DevOps security practices.
* Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Strong capability in driving automation and AI-enabled capabilities within network security engineering, leveraging scripting, APIs, and intelligent analytics to streamline operations, enhance threat detection, and improve delivery efficiency.
Nice to have (but not required):
* Exposure to SR-MPLS or carrier-grade networking.
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or similar.
* Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) or scripting for security use cases.
