Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for Allied Health Assistants to join the Allied Health Services team on a part‐time basis.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Supporting members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of clinical care to patients
* Working under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals
* Completing non‐patient‐based duties, such as cleaning, auditing, completing checklists, etc.
* Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance desired or would be highly valued
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy roles
* Experience working with or providing care to frail, aged or disabled people in a health care setting, or a basic understanding of exercise programmes
* Must be available to work weekdays as well as weekend shifts

Additional Requirements
* Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment.
* Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
