Salary and Employment Type
$57,130 – $62,486 pro rata per annum. 12% superannuation contribution on top of this amount. Additional living expenses up to $9,010 and meal entertainment of $2,650 per FBT year.
Part‐time permanent shift worker (fully rotational): 28 hours per fortnight.
Location & Region
LGH Charles Street, Launceston (North region).
The Team
* A fast paced work environment within a great team.
* LGH Food Services provides meals to over 300 patients daily (breakfast, lunch, dinner) 365 days a year.
* Shift work with a combination of early morning starts, evening shifts, including a combination of weekdays and weekends.
The Role
Provide a high standard of Food Service to hospital patients, staff and patrons in accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, production, service, plating, meal distribution, ware‐washing, and cleaning of the hospital service areas and in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.
* Actively participate in and contribute to the organisation's Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including in the development and implementation of safety systems, improvement initiatives, safeguarding practices for vulnerable people, and related training.
* Responsible for cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, utensils, floors, and walls as directed by relevant supervisors and in accordance with relevant guidelines.
