We are currently recruiting a HR & Payroll Specialist, reporting to the HR Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Payroll:
* Accurate and timely fortnightly end-to-end payroll processing for all employees (160 - 180)
* Maintain payroll data integrity, compliance and reporting
* Employee setup on UKG Ready (time and attendance system) and Payroll Metrics (payroll system)
* Preparation of various monthly payroll report
* Assisting with Award interpretations, pay rate calculations and or adjustment
Human Resources:
* Set up and enter new starters, which includes and is not limited to preparing employment contracts, starter packs and compliance for on‐boarding administration
* End to end recruitment process
* Support employees and managers regarding HR-related queries
* Provide high level guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
* Managing Workers Compensation claims and annual premium reviews.

* General Retail Award and Employer Agreements and their impact on payroll
* Superannuation legislation
* Microsoft Office
* Strong analytical, business mind‐set and problem‐solving skills
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Excellent in people and time management
* Communication skills (written, and verbal)
