About the Position
We are seeking a motivated Signature Events Officer to join our Communities team in Tom Price.
This dynamic, hands‐on role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering the Shire's signature events, festivals, and community celebrations.
Reporting to the Manager Communities, you will work closely with internal teams, community groups, vendors, volunteers, and local partners to create safe, inclusive, and engaging events that bring people together and strengthen community spirit.
Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate logistics, and deliver the Shire's signature events, festivals, and community celebrations.
* Manage vendor relationships and support community‐led initiatives.
* Ensure all safety, permit, and regulatory requirements are met.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to create engaging community experiences.
Benefits
* Indicative package range: $102,832.56 to $116,657.28 (includes annual allowances and superannuation).
* Annual leave: 6 weeks per annum.
* Allowances and superannuation matching scheme.
Eligibility
* Must be a local Tom Price resident.
* No Shire housing provided.
* Flexible working arrangements may be considered, including part‐time hours or a schedule aligned with school hours, subject to operational requirements.
