Our client is a leading global fund administrator seeking candidates with strong Fund Management Financial Reporting backgrounds to join their team.
This is a senior role in the team, responsible for reviewing/checking the work of team members and offshore processing staff, as well as liaising with clients regarding the fund reporting.
The ideal candidate will have worked for another fund services firm, a Big 4 firm dealing with investments and super funds or have similar industry experience such as working for a big fund manager
Responsibilities:
Operationally the role will focus on reviewing the following areas of work:
* Client reporting
* APRA and other regulatory reporting
* Financial statements preparation and review
* Reconciliations
* Client and auditor management
* Resolution of client issues and ad hoc queries
Experience:
* Approximately 6+ years commercial experience in financial services accounting or financial reporting from fund services, Big4 working on fund manager clients, or fund managers / super funds
* Knowledge of fund accounting, reporting and related operational risk and compliance requirements of the client service function
* Experience using central accounting systems and producing reconciliations
* Demonstrated history of being results focused and excellent attention to detail
* Demonstrated history of managing clients and auditors at yearend
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
