About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to provide exceptional customer service to respond to a variety of alarm events while communicating with clients to assist with their needs.
Reporting to the Central Monitoring Station Team Leader, some of your responsibilities will include:
* Proactively participate as a member of the Central Monitoring Station team
* Follow standard monitoring response procedures according to AS2201.2
* Record all actions clearly and accurately in the Patriot monitoring platform
* Update client information accurately in the Patriot monitoring platform
* Liaise with clients/stakeholders regarding alarm/event activations
* Respond to alarm/event activations in a timely manner
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Exceptional customer service skills and a high level of attention to detail
* Strong communication skills - clear, concise and accurate manner in person and over the phone
* A high level of computer and typing skills with the ability to learn new systems and software
* The ability to maintain professionalism in all and every aspect of the Monitoring Station Operations
* Patience, understanding and empathy wherever possible
* The ability to work in a team environment
You will also need:
* Security Officer's licence or willingness to obtain
* Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
* The ability to work on a 24/7 roster
