Join as a Graduate Environmental Scientist in Brisbane, contributing to contaminated land projects with a global environmental consultancy.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Conduct field investigation and data gathering on projects including renewable energy, infrastructure, property due diligence, transport, defence, and remediation
- Interpret and analyze environmental data
- Contribute to preparation of proposals and bids for projects
- Collaborate with a Brisbane team of 17 scientists and engineers and a national team of over 45 land and water professionals
- Support delivery of complex contaminated land projects under guidance from team leaders, project managers, and senior staff
- Travel to various project locations throughout Queensland and interstate (NSW, SA, NT, WA)
About You
The company is looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in science or engineering from a recognised institution
- 0-1 years’ experience in environmental consulting, ideally within contaminated land
- Enthusiastic attitude with willingness to learn and absorb knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team and self-motivate
- Accountability for task and project delivery
- Interest in project management, administration, subcontractor, and HSE management
- Willingness and ability to travel and work on diverse project sites
