IT Control Assurance Specialist (12-Month Contract) The Role This is a 12-month contract based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements. As a Line 1 (first line) specialist, you will be embedded within the IT and PMO business units to lead the design and execution of local and global control assurance activities. Key Responsibilities Testing: Perform local and global testing for ITGCs, SOX, and technology risks, including Cyber and Data Governance. Advisory: Partner with the business to design pragmatic control enhancements and track remediation through to resolution. Reporting: Assist in communicating assurance results and risk findings to senior leadership. Collaboration: Support the delivery of departmental objectives as part of an integrated business unit. Requirements Experience: Significant background in IT Audit (Internal or External), assurance, or compliance. Technical Knowledge: Proven ability to execute ITGC and technology risk assurance activities. Certifications: Tertiary education and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification are essential. Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and investigative skills.
