HR & HC Driver – Alice Springs
Northline is looking for HR and HC Drivers to join our Alice Springs team.
Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills.
We currently have a permanent full-time position available, Monday to Friday, commencing from approx.
6/7 am.
As an experienced HR and HC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of freight to Northline's customers as well as loading and unloading a variety of freight.
Key Responsibilities
Accurate and timely delivery of customer's freight
Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork
Constant communication with the depot (manager/supervisor)
Maintaining a truck log to align with current state legislation
Operating a forklift
Manual handling of freight and curtain gates
As a successful candidate you will
Hold a current and valid HR or HC Licence
Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF)
Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains
Transport industry experience with general freight carriers is highly regarded
Experience working in physically demanding conditions and fast-paced environment
An awareness of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded
