Haymes Paint is looking for a Part Time Stores Sales Assistant to join the Tamworth Store. As a Stores Sales Assistant you will be exposed to both sales-focused and operational responsibilities, in a prime location with high-activity in trade and residential customers. As a Part Time Position, this role will be a 20hrs a week, across 5 days including Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide service, advice and product solutions to both trade and retail customers
* Handle all paint related questions for all customers, including tinting paint products and colour matching to customer requirements.
* Inventory control (goods receiving/stocktaking), stock replenishment
* Take orders in-store and by phone
* Build strong relationships with repeat customers in store and fellow colleagues
* Assist with visual displays, store presentation and general house-keeping
* Comply with safe work practices
About you
* Previous experience working in a customer service role
* A willingness to learn, grow and develop with Haymes Paint
* A driver's licence to make local deliveries
* Experience with stock handling and merchandising
* Confidence to perform manual tasks
* Point of Sales (POS) system knowledge or appropriate tech-savvy
* Trade experience is highly regarded but not essential
