About the Role
The Coordinator Education Assistance plays a vital role in enhancing educational outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with school Welfare Officers, school resource suppliers, and volunteers to ensure effective program administration.
* Support low socio-economic families by assisting with education expenses to promote children's engagement in school.
* Facilitate linkages to other services that address issues impacting school attendance, benefiting students and their families.
* Empower parents and carers to meet financial educational needs of children.
Requirements
* Certificate IV in Community Services or relevant experience.
* Previous community services experience in non-profit and/or NGO settings preferred.
* Demonstrate understanding of challenges facing vulnerable consumers.
* Proven experience working with diverse consumer groups.
* High-level interpersonal and communication skills.
