Ability Plus are looking for an experienced and dynamic Funding and Intake Coordinator to join our Ability Plus team in Cheltenham. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, this role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with the all parts of participant funding under the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the Transport Accident Commission frameworks.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, clinical evidence coordination, and disability support planning, requiring a strong understanding of how Participant needs translate into funding approvals and on-going management.

Drawing on your understanding of effective financial and budget management, you will ensure funding allocations accurately reflect current and evolving Participant needs and continual service delivery to those in our care.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct prospective participant interviews working closely with the Clinical Team to confirm participant support needs
* Complete all intake documentation for new participants, including service agreements and establishment fees
* Ensure all participant funding documentation is compliant with policy, quality and service administration requirements
* Support our operational team including Participant Program Coordinators to review and optimise participant funding packages (NDIS, TAC, etc.)
* Assist with funding reviews and provide information to optimise requests for additional funding
* Create and support Operational Teams with monitoring budgets to ensure service delivery within approved budgets
* Coordinate participant holiday requests, including approval of clinical risk assessments and financial approvals
About You
* You are organised, proactive and detail‐oriented, with superior understanding of disability funding and commercially minded with managing budgets. You enjoy working collaboratively across teams while confidently managing your own workload.
* You thrive in managing high volume environments and are outcome focused
* You will also bring:
* Strong knowledge of NDIS and TAC funding arrangements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Confidence and experience working with participants, families and external stakeholders
* A professional, service‐focused and solutions‐oriented approach in a high volume enviroment
