Bethanie Home Care offers a variety of services to ageing Australians, allowing them to live independently in their own homes throughout Perth, Geraldton and the South West.
We provide support with day‐to‐day living, including personal care, domestic assistance, gardening services, respite services and social support.
We are currently seeking a Unqualified Support Worker to provide services in the Geraldton area.
To be successful in this role you must be available to commit to the following:
* Permanent part‐time employment, working a minimum of 12 hours per week
* Availability between the hours of 8:30 am to 3 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
* Use of your own car, with a travel allowance per kilometre provided
About You
* Previous experience working in an aged care or community care environment is desirable
* Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
* Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
* Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
The Role
* Professionally deliver a variety of services including food preparation, cleaning, laundry, personal care, and support for hobbies, interests, and leisure activities
* Ensure all living areas of clients' homes are kept clean, tidy, and safe from hazards
* Ensure all personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriately
* Support clients with transport to appointments
* Provide social support by spending time doing the things clients love
* Prioritise a personal connection with clients, ensuring respect and compassion at all times
