We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year who is looking to further develop their electrical career.
As an Apprentice Electrician you will perform technical work on electrical and data cabling systems under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson.
This apprenticeship continues your hands‐on training and requires attendance at trade school to complete your Cert III in Electrotechnology.

What you will be doing
* Assist the Perth on-site manager with the installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of electrical and cabling systems across commercial building sites and premises.
* Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical information with growing independence.
* Collaborate with Tradesmen and Project Managers to successfully deliver electrical and communications projects in line with Company standards and project deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes and industry standards governing electrical installation and maintenance.
* Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
* Complete administrative duties including call reports and timesheets accurately and on time.
* Attend shifts as per roster requirements in the Perth area.
* Night shifts are also part of the role for which you will receive shift work penalties.
* Demonstrate increasing competency with electrical and mechanical tools and equipment.
* Manage inventory stock components and ensure accurate booking of parts to tasks.
* Other duties as directed by your supervisor, with increasing responsibility.
What you need
* Willingness to obtain an NV1 Defence Clearance through AGSVA
* Currently enrolled in or completed 1st through 3rd year of a Cert III in Electrotechnology (required).
* Own vehicle (required).
* Year 12 (required).
* Proficient in English and Mathematics.
* Other qualifications as appropriate.
* Prior work experience in electrical trades.
* Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
* Ability to do overtime and shift work when required.
* Ability to do work away from home / living remotely when required.
* Ability to pass a national police and medical check.
