Program Facilitator, Men's Behaviour Change

ABOUT US
Sydney West is the leading community organisation connecting and empowering people of all cultures in Western Sydney. Through relevant person-centred services, representation and evidence development we are helping to improve the lives of individuals and build the social capacity of communities in the region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Program Facilitator, Men's Behaviour Change is part of the organisation’s Community Engagement Division and is funded by the Department of Communities and Justice. The SydWest MBCP is a culturally sensitive group program designed to challenge an individual's learned patterns of behaviour and provide education and tools to assist in reframing interpersonal relationships.

This 20-week evidence-based group program will create a self-reflective environment developed to enhance life skills, connection, knowledge and understanding of domestic and family violence. It is aimed at men who are living in communities with recognised high levels of domestic violence, who have been perpetrators of family violence, have displayed patterns of behaviour of abuse, or identified at risk of perpetrating violent behaviour.

OUR ADVANTAGES

We offer free exercise classes, twice a week, salary sacrifice packaging options, free assessment on Gallup Strengths-finder program, and Community Services Portable Long Services Leave for employees.
