Salary: $75,176.80 – $76,897.65 + super + salary packaging
Responsibilities
* Be responsible for the day‐to‐day pharmacy inventory operations including stock receipting, invoice matching, credits processing and accurate and timely data entry across iPharmacy, Web ADI and Finance systems.
* Liaise with suppliers and wholesalers to resolve delivery discrepancies, backorders, pricing updates, credits and product catalogue maintenance.
* Work closely with the Pharmacy Stores Team to ensure accurate and timely inventory management including monitoring stock levels and supporting urgent medication requests to ensure uninterrupted supply across the hospital.
* Support pharmacy inventory control activities including stock rotation, expiry date checking, cycle counts, discrepancy investigations and annual stocktakes.
* Contribute to the smooth operation of Pharmacy Stores through imprest distribution, specialised medication sourcing, finance reporting support, quality improvement activities and leave coverage as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy either in Pharmacy Stores or inventory management and procurement or as a pharmacy assistant/technician with experience in inventory management.
* Sound understanding of pharmaceutical legislation and compliance requirements, with a solid focus on accuracy and patient safety.
* Strong computer skills with experience using pharmacy systems, databases, spreadsheets and other administrative software.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities and meet time‐sensitive deadlines efficiently.
* A reliable and proactive team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‐solving skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
