* Salary: $76,302 - $85,765 gross p.a. plus 12% Super
* 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with the option of flexitime

About the Role
This role reports to the Manager - Procurement and ensures Council's procurement and tendering activities comply with Council policies, procedures, the Local Government Act, and relevant legislation. This includes:
* Support Procurement Management in embedding organisation‐wide strategic procurement principles.
* Ensure all procurement and tendering activities comply with Council policies, procedures, the Local Government Act and all other relevant legislation.
* Provide high level procurement advice and support in procurement processes including tenders, quotations, and expressions of interest.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
* Certificate IV in Procurement/Contracting and/or extensive equivalent experience in a similar role.
* Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
* A current Class C Drivers Licence.
This role would suit a proactive procurement professional with a strong understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to provide clear, practical advice to stakeholders.
Council requires applicants for this position to undergo a National Criminal History Check during the recruitment process. This check will be at the expense of Council.
