* Additional $1,013.48 gross p.a. Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions allowance

About The Role
This role involves undertaking biosecurity inspections and on‐ground weed control activities to protect Council land, natural areas and the broader community. The position applies a range of control techniques, including chemical and manual methods, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safety standards.
* Undertake property inspections on private and public property for the purpose of identifying and regulating weeds scheduled in accordance with the Biosecurity Act 2015.
* Identifying, recording, mapping, and reporting on the presence of scheduled and other weeds on properties.
* Monitor and control scheduled weeds and pest animals in accordance with legislation and industry standards.
* Spraying of pesticides and horticultural products at Council‐controlled sites such as parks, sportsgrounds, recycling, waste depots, roadsides and natural areas.
* Use weed control methods such as spraying, manual removal, cut and paint or other appropriate techniques, including use of small plant as directed.
About You
* Certificate III in Horticulture, Agriculture or Conservation and Land Management (or equivalent).
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
