Heavy Diesel Mechanic Job Opportunity
A prime role awaits in Kalgoorlie as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
The Key Responsibilities
Operate in a concreted and covered Workshop with rosters of 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
* Complete scheduled servicing & maintenance on prime movers, tankers / trailers, dollies including engine Tune-ups.
* Maintenance, diagnosis & repair of air brake systems, steering & suspension systems, engine & driveline components, vehicle lighting systems, ABS / EBS electronic braking systems.
* Record information of all work completed on mobile assets.
* Ability to read diagrams & flow charts for fault troubleshooting process.
* Maintain a high level of safety when performing tasks.
* Ensure all assets are in roadworthy condition before they are released from the workshop.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Required skills include:
* Heavy diesel mechanic experience
* Knowledge of prime mover maintenance and repair
* Diagnostics and troubleshooting
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* High level of physical fitness and endurance
