About the role

As we expand our services across Perth's northern corridor, we're seeking a driven and empowering Allied Health Team Leader to play a key role in establishing our new Yanchep hub. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced allied health professional ready to step into leadership, or an established leader looking for a fresh challenge in a growing service.

Part Time, 0.6FTE. Fixed term contract until 31st December 2026. Yanchep hub + flexible work options.

Responsibilities and qualifications

* Lead local recruitment in partnership with Talent Acquisition and leadership to build the Yanchep team
* Support onboarding to ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience
* Promote Ability WA services within the community to drive referrals and brand awareness
* Lead, coach and develop a high-performing, values-aligned and inclusive team
* Support career growth through meaningful 1:1s, mentoring and team huddles
* Work closely with the Wanneroo Team, including Team Leaders and therapists
* Model Ability WA's leadership behaviours and organisational values
* Manage feedback and escalations with professionalism and empathy
* Allied Health qualification with AHPRA or relevant professional registration
* Strong clinical capability within your discipline
* Demonstrated leadership and supervision experience
* Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop others
* Strong networking capabilities
* Excellent communication, organisation and collaboration skills
* Ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders
* Full working rights in Australia

Required checks

National Police Clearance, Driver's Licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate.
