Fetch Recruitment are seeking experienced HSEQ Advisors to join our client on multiple Energy / Infrastructure projects throughout West North Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile tier 2 civil contractor while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and implement HSE policies and procedures across multiple projects.
* Roaming position throughout the North Western suburbs of Melbourne.
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
* Investigate and report incidents, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices.
* Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.
Qualifications, Experience and Must Haves
* Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role, preferably in the civil construction industry.
* Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field. (Certificate 4 in OHS minimum)
* Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSE standards and legislation.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs, alcohol and fitness test.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
