As a Sonographer at Rockingham Radiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical imaging services to patients. This full-time/Part Time position is based in our state-of-the-art facility in Port Kennedy, WA. You will work collaboratively with our team of radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services.
What you'll be doing
Perform a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, musculoskeletal and other specialty scans
Accurately capture and interpret ultrasound images, providing detailed reports to support patient diagnosis and treatment
Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant protocols and procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our imaging services through process optimisation and knowledge sharing
What we're looking for
Registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Sonographer
Proficiency in a wide range of ultrasound techniques, with a strong understanding of anatomy and pathology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare providers
A commitment to providing the highest standard of patient-centred care
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to quickly and accurately diagnose medical conditions
