What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for construction, hydro, and sustaining capex portfolios.
* Ensure robust financial governance and compliance activities across project phases and asset lifecycles.
* Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to support investment and prioritisation decisions.
* Prepare financial reporting and performance tracking for capital expenditure and sustaining programs.
* Work with asset, project, engineering, and operations teams to support financial alignment.
* Drive continuous improvement in capital and sustaining capex financial processes and systems.
* Provide analytical support to the finance team across the capital and sustaining portfolio.
* Provide key insight into board paper preparation.
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related discipline.
* CA or CPA qualified (or near completion).
* 4+ years experience in finance, accounting or commercial analysis, supporting month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
* Demonstrated success in supporting stakeholders in a business partnering, reporting or analyst capacity.
* Good working knowledge of finance systems and ERP platforms, preferably SAP.
* Ability to present data and insights in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
* Ability to build relationships and influence through quality analysis and communication.
