About the Role
This full-time position is perfect for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with protocols.
* Perform nuclear medicine imaging using PET, SPECT, and gamma cameras.
* Position patients and explain procedures clearly and compassionately.
* Monitor patients for reactions and ensure radiation safety standards are met.
* Process and analyse images for diagnostic quality.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance programs.
What You'll Bring
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and nuclear medicine imaging principles.
* Proficiency in the safe handling, preparation, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
* Experience with PET, SPECT, CT, and gamma camera systems.
* Ability to analyse image quality and adjust procedures accordingly.
* Strong troubleshooting skills with imaging equipment and safety systems.
* Commitment to maintaining accuracy in documentation and patient records.
* Clear and compassionate communication with patients, including those who are anxious or vulnerable.
* Team oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists.
