Baseball NSW is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and well organised individual to join our team in the role of Women's Development Lead.
Women and girls are crucial to the future of Baseball NSW. This role is central to accelerating female participation at every level through all involvement types across grassroots, performance, and community leadership.
Purpose of the Role
The Women's Development Lead will champion the growth, retention and experience of women and girls across baseball in NSW. The role drives key participation programs, develops improved pathways for female athletes, advocates for the needs of women and girls, and builds capability across the sport to ensure strong and sustainable female participation outcomes.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the role works collaboratively with clubs, associations, coaches, schools, representatives and the broader community.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement targeted strategies that attract, engage and retain women and girls
* Support clubs and associations to build inclusive and sustainable female participation environments
* Lead delivery of Women's Development Programs across NSW
* Manage administration for representative programs including:
* Barclay Cup
* Australian Women's Youth Championships (AWYC) representatives
* Coordinate logistics, communications, and stakeholder alignment
* Support delivery of coach education initiatives that strengthen female representation
* Represent Baseball NSW at women's and girls' forums
* Support key projects including the Fukuoka Prefecture Girls Tour
* Provide insights and reporting to support decision-making
Role Logistics
Position Title: Women's Development Lead
Employment Basis: Part Time – 0.6 FTE
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer, Baseball NSW
Location: Blacktown International Sportspark + Flexible Work
Remuneration: Coach Grade 2 Sporting Organisations Award pro rata (0.6 FTE)
Contract Type: Ongoing

This position is classified as child-related employment under NSW legislation.
