Our client, a company in the mining and automotive sectors, is seeking experienced industrial sewers to assist with manufacturing high‐end seating equipment and upholstery products at their Crestmead facility.
Compensation
Competitive pay rate of $38 per hour.
Location & Hours
Full‐time position located in Crestmead (Monday – Friday). Ongoing position with consistent full‐time hours. Training will be provided for upskilling.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate Toyota sewing machines.
* Manufacture and alter heavy‐duty fabrics and materials.
* Work with drawings and sample products to meet production specifications.
Qualifications
* Previous sewing or upholstery experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
* High attention to detail.
* Confidence working with thick and heavy materials.
* Ability to produce neat, strong, consistent stitching.
* Ability to meet daily output targets.
