About Springhill Farm
We're a second‐generation, mid‐scale food manufacturer, producing delicious products under both our own Springhill Farm brand and for leading snack food brands across Australia. We operate out of a purpose‐built AA‐grade BRC facility in Ballarat and have a team of over 100 passionate snack makers on site.
The role
You will shape and lead our branded sales strategy rather than simply execute it, setting a clear direction across both the immediate and longer term. You will build and lead a high performing sales team, ensuring that the right focus, structure, and accountability are in place to deliver results.
You will take ownership of key customer relationships across multiple channels, strengthening partnerships and identifying opportunities for growth. At the same time, you will proactively pursue new business opportunities, converting them into commercially viable and strategically aligned outcomes.
Working closely with our product and brand teams, you will also play a key role in shaping our innovation pipeline, ensuring that what we develop meets both customer and consumer needs. Ultimately, you will be responsible for driving both top‐line growth and strong commercial discipline across the Springhill Farm brand.
What you'll be doing Sales Strategy
* In consultation with the General Manager, develop the Springhill Farm sales strategy for the current financial year, and for a 3‐year horizon in line with Springhill Farm's broader goals.
* Develop sales budgets and be responsible for the achievement of these
* Roll down actions and KPI's to the sales team, monitor performance against these
* Optimise and refine sales processes
Account Management
* Manage key accounts across multiple channels, including end customers and distributors.
* Develop and monitor comprehensive account management plans for each key customer to ensure they reach or exceed budget
* Develop and implement trade marketing plans to budget
* Proactively meet with buyers and identify new opportunities for business development
* Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction with every customer
New Business Development
* Identify strategically aligned new business opportunities
* Nurture and develop leads dependant on an agreed channel strategy
Product Management and Innovation
* Monitor product profitability and adjust pricing strategies as required
* Working with the brand and product development teams, provide input into product innovation trends and opportunities for us to develop products to meet customer needs.
Team Leadership and Culture
* Develop and lead a high‐performance team
* Support the team to ensure they have the tools required to achieve both their own, and the businesses goals
* Embed the Springhill Farm values into the teams' everyday interactions

About you
You're more than a sales leader; you bring a combination of commercial sharpness, strategic thinking, and a willingness to be hands‐on when it matters.
You have proven experience in a senior FMCG sales role and a track record of delivering sustained business growth. You understand how to build and maintain strong customer relationships, particularly at a key account level, and you're comfortable moving between strategy and execution.
You are an experienced people leader who knows how to build, coach and develop high‐performing teams. You don't just manage performance; you lift capability, creating an environment where people are clear on expectations, feel accountable for outcomes, and are supported to grow. You stay close to the detail, step in when needed, and lead by example, building a team that is both commercially strong and deeply aligned. You are naturally collaborative and able to bring people with you, building trust both internally and externally. You operate in a way that reflects authenticity, accountability, and a genuinely customer‐first mindset.
Importantly, you have a genuine passion for great food and recognise the role that snacks play in everyday moments. You enjoy working in a fast‐paced, creative environment where ideas are tested, improved, and brought to life, and you bring a sense of energy, curiosity and fun to the role.
