Caravan & Camping Aus is a fast-growing Australian retailer and wholesaler specialising in camping, RV and outdoor lifestyle products. With a rapidly expanding product range of over 4,000 SKUs, we are continuing to build our presence across wholesale, retail, eCommerce and key distribution channels.

About the Role
This is a key growth role focused on identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities with major retail chains, buying groups and multi-site retail operators.
You will be responsible for opening doors and building strong commercial relationships with businesses such as outdoor, automotive, leisure, hardware, caravan, camping and lifestyle retailers and multi-store networks.
Reporting to senior management, you will play a major role in expanding Caravan & Camping Aus into the retail market by developing partnerships, presenting product opportunities, negotiating supply arrangements and driving long-term business growth.
In addition, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to define and communicate the operational, commercial and supply requirements needed to successfully onboard and service these larger retail partners. This includes providing clear insight into customer expectations around pricing structures, ranging, logistics, service levels, compliance and systems integration, ensuring the business is well-positioned to meet the demands of these accounts.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in business development, account management or B2B sales
* Experience selling into retail chains, buying groups, franchise networks, wholesale customers or multi-site businesses
* Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust with senior contacts, buyers and category managers
* Commercially focused with strong negotiation and presentation skills
* Ability to identify new opportunities and convert them into long-term customers
* Strong understanding of retail channel structures, product ranging and promotional planning
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High energy, self-motivated and driven to achieve growth targets
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a pipeline of opportunities
* Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Excel
* Willingness to travel locally and interstate when required
* Experience in the caravan, camping, RV, outdoor, automotive or lifestyle product industries
* Existing relationships with retail chains, buying groups or category managers
* Knowledge of wholesale distribution, product ranging, retail pricing and promotional programs
* Experience working with ERP systems
