Job Overview
This is a pivotal role that requires a seasoned sales professional to spearhead revenue growth and awareness of power generation and temperature control products/solutions in the QLD mining and oil & gas arena.
* Work closely with internal teams to implement key development strategies and actions.
* Deliver key presentations for major opportunities to existing and potential customers.
* Manage existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
* Able to relate at all levels and influence stakeholders in decision making processes.
* Promote awareness of company products and complete service offering.
* Manage multi-location customer relationships using local business presence to create increased business.
* Represent the company professionally at local industry functions and exhibitions.
* Advise on any new product opportunities and present a business case to substantiate requests.
* Deliver and exceed annual revenue targets.
* Advise of any changes to legislative standards that could potentially affect revenue or compromise OHS&E standards.
* Ensure all projects are managed correctly and are profitable.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A minimum of 3 years selling or sales management experience.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft products especially with PowerPoint presentations, Excel and CRM.
* Market driven professional with high levels of energy and enthusiasm.
* A self starter with the ability to work autonomously or with a team.
* Experience in the mining environment with rental or capital sales highly regarded.
Other requirements include:
* Ability to travel throughout QLD region in particular from Brisbane to the Bowen Basin – some overnight stays may be required.
* Have a current and valid driving license.
* Interstate travel may be required.
* Provide regular reports as a minimum.
* Attend and contribute to area sales meetings when required.
