The Position:
An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth within major mining and minerals processing projects in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and South Australia. You will leverage your strong senior management network to influence specifications with Owners and EPC/M organisations and capitalise on opportunities with contractors and distribution channels. This home-based role requires a strategic and hands-on approach to achieve revenue targets and build lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
* Developing and achieving specifications and conversions within the assigned territory.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with Owners, EPC/Ms, and Constructors.
* Providing expert advice and solutions to target customers.
* Maximising opportunities through effective territory planning and management.
* Contributing to training initiatives for specifiers, distributors, and contractors.
* Providing timely and accurate market intelligence and reporting.
About You / Qualifications
* A university degree, preferably in engineering, or equivalent professional sales qualifications with strong technical acumen.
* Significant experience in business development at management levels within the mining sector.
* A well-established senior management network within Owner, EPC/M, and Constructor organisations in the mining industry.
* Demonstrated experience in executing complex and technical sales into major projects.
* Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical expertise effectively to diverse audiences.
* Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office suite) and CRM proficiency.
* A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally, nationally, and occasionally internationally.
