Responsibilities
* To deliver high level orthopaedic physiotherapy clinical services and act as a resource in their area of expertise within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) Fraser Coast.
* To deliver professional leadership in orthopaedic physiotherapy including clinical practice supervision of less experienced physiotherapists and clinical support staff at Hervey Bay & Maryborough Hospitals.
* Manage day-to-day operational aspects and planning of physiotherapy staff in surgical wards ensuring quality outcomes in collaboration with the Director of Physiotherapy.
* To provide leadership and contribute to service development, education and research in the department.
* Temporary Part Time (30.4 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Compensation
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $62,944 p.a., comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.56 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Part Time, 30.4 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension).
