Permanent MC Truck Driver - Ayr, QLD
Location: Ayr, Queensland
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Are you an experienced MC Driver looking for stable, long-term employment in North Queensland? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable MC Truck Driver to join our team permanently. Based in the beautiful Ayr region, this role is perfect for a dedicated driver who takes pride in their equipment, values safety, and is looking for consistent hours with a reputable company.
Responsibilities
* Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of machinery and materials.
* Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Operating heavy vehicle floats.
* Driving truck and dog combinations.
* Working consistent 10-hour daily shifts.
* Performing pre-start checks and maintaining accurate logbook records.
* Ensuring all loads are safely secured and transported in compliance with chain of responsibility (CoR) regulations.
Requirements
* Current MC (Multi-Combination) Driver\'s Licence.
* Demonstrated Experience: Proven experience operating floats and truck & dog combinations.
* Clean Driving Record: A current traffic history report will be required.
* Clearances: You must be able to successfully pass a National Police Check.
* Health & Safety: Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical Assessment, as well as strict Drug & Alcohol screening.
* Location: You must currently reside in the Ayr region or have the ability and willingness to relocate to Ayr for this permanent role.
