Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Social Support Meal Coordinator. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the local community by preparing and serving healthy, appealing meals to clients attending our Social Support Program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising kitchen volunteers during food preparation and service, ensuring all food handling and kitchen practices comply with hygiene and safety standards. This includes cooking and preparing meals independently when volunteer support is unavailable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain;
* Experience in cooking or catering meals, preferably for older people;
