What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a Team Leader Open Space & Environment to join our dedicated Hervey Bay based parks team. You’ll be responsible for supporting programmed maintenance and driving the day to day success of your team.
What Your Day Will Look Like
* Supervising the daily operations of your team
* Providing on the ground support to your team as well as providing advice to your supervisor
* Mentoring and upskilling your team, encouraging a collaborative work environment
* Providing regular updates to your supervisor on the progress of scheduled work
* Responding to and investigating customer requests
* Ensuring all activities are completed with a safety first attitude

What You’ll Need For Success
With a number of years experience in a similar position, you’ll have a sound understanding of industry standards and will be enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge with your team. You’ll gain satisfaction from mentoring and upskilling team members.
You’ll Have
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
* A commitment to ensuring workplace health and safety is adhered to
* Experience in organising work schedules and allocating resources.
