As a Business Strategy Senior Specialist, you play a critical role in shaping the future of Telstra's business by contributing to the company's long-term strategy.
Your teamwork skills support collaboration with stakeholders and building strong relationships with senior leaders across the business.
You apply exceptional analytical and communication skills to solve complex business problems, facilitate decision making around strategic priorities, and spot emerging market trends.
You will be involved in defining the next wave of growth for our business across areas such as Telstra Consumer, Telstra Business, Telstra Enterprise, Product & Technology, and/or Telstra International.
Key Responsibilities
Solving complex problems – Leverage commercial acumen and strategic expertise to influence decision making and develop a clear strategic direction for Telstra.
Creating data-driven strategies – Use data and analytics to understand commercial problems, extract key information, and develop data-driven strategies.
Developing and articulating strategic direction – Drive the thinking around Telstra's long-term strategy, formulate new strategic frameworks as needed.
Analyzing emerging trends – Translate insights into actionable strategies and evaluate their impact on Telstra's long-term needs.
Engaging and influencing stakeholders – Collaborate with and present to peer groups and senior executives to generate solutions and remove organisational barriers.
Communicating key information – Prepare decision-making materials for the CEO, leadership team, and Board (e.g., papers, workshops, war games) to drive senior engagement and achieve Telstra's strategic objectives.

In addition, you will have:
Management consulting and/or strategy experience
Strong business acumen and commercial judgement
Financial and P&L knowledge
