The opportunity

We're looking for a Claims Officer to join our Property Claims team! You'll play a key role in supporting customers through the end-to-end claims process in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Your new role

Manage a portfolio of property claims from lodgement through to resolution. Analyse policy coverage and ensure accurate, timely claim decisions. Set reserves, authorise payments, and negotiate fair claim outcomes. Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing professional and responsive service. Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines, identifying and escalating risks where required. Identify potential fraud or suspicious activity while maintaining clear and confidential communication.

About you

* Experience managing a portfolio of claims, including end-to-end customer interactions.
* A strong customer service background with a passion for delivering quality outcomes and building a career in insurance.
* Confident working in a high-volume, phone-based environment, managing competing priorities effectively.
* Ability to build rapport and navigate a range of customer expectations, including handling difficult or complex conversations.
* Empathetic and professional approach when supporting customers through challenging situations.
* Highly organised, self-motivated and a confident communicator across both phone and written channels.
