As a TAFE Teacher, you will have the opportunity to impart your industry knowledge to students through various delivery methods including classroom, online, and workplace training. You will help students from diverse backgrounds gain the skills needed to succeed professionally and personally.
The Role
We have two permanent full-time positions available in our Electrical Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland SkillsTech, Eagle Farm campus. As an Electrical TAFE Teacher, you will influence the careers of future industry professionals by sharing your extensive industry knowledge in educational settings. This position reports to the relevant Business Manager.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess:

UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
Current industry skills relevant to training and assessment
Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and assessment
Evidence of ongoing professional development in vocational training and assessment

Additionally, candidates must hold or be willing to obtain a qualification in adult education, primarily TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. Teaching experience is not mandatory as training and development are provided. For more information, see the Foundation Educator program on the TAFE Queensland website.
Highly Desirable

Post-trade qualifications, telecommunications, hazardous areas, instrumentation, PLCs, Scada, electronics background

Proof of qualifications and industry currency must be provided at interview.
