Position
Assistant CSC Team Leader – Cairns Corps (part‐time, 4 hours per week, permanent). Reporting to the Team Leader, this role supports the operation and administration of Cairns Street Chaplains Limited Services.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Team Leader with day‐to‐day operations and administration.
* Support the street outreach program, including overnight activities.
* Manage volunteers, greet community members, provide rest and recovery assistance, and offer referral pathways as needed.
* Advance TSA's reputation by delivering client‐focused care and services.
* Maintain high standards of customer service to all stakeholders and participate in continuous improvement processes.
* Serve as an on‐call Team Leader and oversee volunteer engagement when required.
* Actively participate in team efforts to achieve organisational strategies.
* Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, stocked, and available; report any issues.
* Complete incident reports, maintain the database, and generate weekly statistical reports.
* Support leadership through participation in professional development activities.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Administration, Community Services, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in a similar role or within the community services sector.
* Employment history with a not‐for‐profit organisation (desirable).
* Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* A Working with Children (Blue Card) is required.
* Current and valid Driver's Licence.
* Valid First Aid Certificate.
* Willingness to be flexible with work hours and days, including overnight shifts.
