Position: Housekeeping Assistant
We are opening a new 102-bed aged care home, Holy Cross, implementing the Inspirit Model of Care. We seek dedicated Housekeeping Assistants to support cleaning services. Ideally, applicants should have a minimum of 3 days availability, preferably more.
Typical Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and common areas
* Tidy and organise lounges, dining areas, offices and storage areas
* Remove rubbish safely and restock bathroom supplies daily
* Follow infection prevention and control procedures to keep residents safe
* Demonstrate pride in your work by doing what is needed
Qualifications & Attributes
* Heart and passion for providing high‐quality care to the elderly
* Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families
* Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
* Desire to move around and interact with residents
