The Opportunity
Hooper Accountants currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Accountant with SMSF experience to join our Team on a full-time or part-time basis.
At Hooper Accountants, you'll work alongside a passionate and experienced team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to a diverse range of clients, from established businesses to emerging clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply professional accounting, financial and SMSF knowledge in the development and maintenance of client affairs
* Provide exceptional service to clients through relationship management and effective communication;
* Provide knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and ensure compliance is maintained;
* Helping to identify, research and resolve complex accounting and superfund issues;
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Business / Commerce Degree with Accounting Major
* CPA or CA qualification or looking to complete (preferred but not mandatory)
* Minimum 3+ years public practice experience (including SMSF experience) or Relevant experience in a similar role;
* Demonstrated knowledge of Australian taxation law;
* Willingness to develop and learn new skills
* Comprehensive computer skills including knowledge of various accounting software
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
