We are currently looking for a Mine Electrical Superintendent to join the engineering leadership team in the Western Region. This role is ideal for an electrical engineering professional looking to advance their career within a high-performing underground coal environment.

Responsibilities
* Managing the life cycle of Electrical Assets associated with site
* Overseeing Electrical statutory compliance
* Maintaining forecasts for capital and operating expenses and directly managing the Electrical Engineering budget
* Coaching, mentoring, developing and managing direct reports and maintaining quarterly review of key result areas
* Developing continuous improvement initiatives across the Electrical Engineering area

Qualifications
* Tertiary level qualifications in Electrical Engineering
* NSW Electrical Engineering Manager Certificate of Competency / Mutual Recognition (or higher)
* NSW Electrical Engineering Manager Practising Certificate
* Compliance with Learning and Completion Hours of the Maintenance of Competence for Practising Certificates
* A minimum of 3 years previous experience working in a leadership role in an underground coal mining environment
* Sound computer literacy skills
* A commitment to safety and operational targets
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Positive attitude towards team leadership and mentoring
